My name is Mrs. Hodge, and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade Science this school year. This will be my 10th year at SME, and I’m embarking on my 23rd year in education! I was born and raised in Texas, and I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2001. I started teaching right out of college. I taught 4th grade for three years in Texas, and then moved to Colorado in 2005, where I taught 3rd grade until 2021. I am now in my 4th year teaching 5th grade! I am married with kids of my own. We love to watch sports, cook, go hiking, and have quality time with our family!

mmrhodes@dcsdk12.org | Hello, I’m Misty Rhodes and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade Math this school year! This will be my 10th year teaching, and my 6th as a Stone Mountain Cub! My favorite part of teaching is building relationships with my awesome students. I especially love watching them grow with confidence as they discover their passions! When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my husband, Matt, and our two teenagers Madison (18) and Tanner (16). We love watching sports, being outside in beautiful Colorado, hiking, paddleboarding, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. |

jwilde@dcsdk12.org | Hello SME community! My name is Jen Wilde and I could not be happier to be at a part of the SME family as the 5th grade literacy teacher! I grew up in Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. After college, I headed west to Colorado. I taught for 11 years in DCSD in 4th, 5th and 6th grades before spending some bonus time at home with my children. Once they were all in school full time, I decided to get back in the classroom and returned to teaching last year at SME. When, I am not in the classroom, you'll find me spending time with my husband, Adam and our three on-the-go children Spencer (14), Nolan (11) and Adalynn(7). We enjoy watching them be a part of all the activities they enjoy. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, exploring Colorado, traveling when time allows, and reading. |

icampbell@dcsdk12.org | Hello SME! My name is Isabelle Campbell and I am so excited to join the Stone Mountain family this year! I graduated from MSU Denver in December with a degree in Elementary Education. During my time in school I was able to teach in a 5th and 4th grade classroom. After graduation I was a long term substitute for Mrs. Humphrey here at SME! I fell in love with this school and the community and knew I wanted to be a permanent SME Cub. I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year and can't wait to make some great memories! |
