5th Grade

Hello, I’m Misty Rhodes and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade Math this school year! This will be my 11th year teaching, and my 7th as a Stone Mountain Cub! My favorite part of teaching is building relationships with my awesome students. I especially love watching them grow with confidence as they discover their passions! When I’m not in the classroom, I love spending time with my husband, Matt, and our two teenagers Madison (19) and Tanner (17). We love watching sports, being outside in beautiful Colorado, hiking, paddleboarding, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. 

Hello SME community! My name is Jen Wilde, and I could not be happier to be a part of the SME family as the 5th grade science teacher! I grew up in Iowa and graduated from the University of Northern Iowa.  After college, I headed west to Colorado. I taught for 11 years in DCSD in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades before spending some bonus time at home with my children. Once they were all in school full time, I decided to get back in the classroom. This is my third year being an SME cub and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! When I am not in the classroom, you'll find me spending time with my husband, Adam, and our three on-the-go children, Spencer (15), Nolan (12), and Adalynn(8). We enjoy watching them be a part of all the activities they enjoy. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors, exploring Colorado, traveling when time allows, and reading.

My name is Isabelle Campbell, and I am thrilled to be teaching 5th grade Literacy this year! This will be my second year in the classroom, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue my journey here at Stone Mountain. I graduated from MSU Denver with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and after graduation, I had the opportunity to long-term sub for 3rd grade here at Stone Mountain. I quickly fell in love with our school and community, and I am so grateful to be part of the Cub family again this year. Outside the classroom, I love spending time with friends and family, shopping, traveling, and soaking up the sunshine. It's going to be a fun year!
